For the third time we are organizing the Summer School of Scandinavian and Central European History at Charles University. In June 2025, teachers and scholars with their students from 7 universities will come to our institution. This year’s theme is „Foreigners in the Nordic countries during the Second World War“ to highlight international migration to and within Scandinavia, which is often neglected in post-war memory. Migration to Scandinavia included many people from occupied countries, including Czechoslovakia, Poland, Yugoslavia and France.
The language of instruction will be Scandinavian languages.
